Solar Project Advances with Roof Replacement

If you happened to look up during Holy Week, you might have noticed the roof looks a little different! On April 12th & 13th, crews from Performance Solar removed and replaced the asphalt shingles over the entire church and office area as well as Carroll Hall.

While we had originally only planned to re-roof the sanctuary as part of this project, a few trouble spots, particularly above Carroll Hall, made it expeditious to complete the larger area before the panels are installed. The Solar Team proposed the amended plan to the Vestry, who voted to proceed. The additional cost will be amortized into the overall project, with the slightly higher monthly payments being worth it to avoid a larger expense later.
