Arguably the most important service of the church year, the Great Vigil begins outdoors with the Lighting of the New Fire. We then proceed into the darkened church where stories of death and rebirth from throughout our history are told. We renew our baptismal vows and, in a dramatic moment, we proclaim the resurrection of our Savior as the church is filled with light and sound.  This is an experience you will not soon forget.
