The mission of the Green Team is to identify and promote ways for our parish community to be good stewards of the environment.
Before the start of the pandemic lockdown, we maintained a robust recycling program, organizing ourselves, on a monthly rotational basis, to transport recyclables to the township’s recycling depot at least once weekly.
As we look for ways to conserve energy and reduce our carbon footprint, St. Mark’s signed an agreement in late 2021 to install a solar power system. The work began in May of 2022.
